Use these Registry edits to delete various Start menus or menu options. If you delete all the Settings menu option, the Settings option disappears.

To delete the menu or option in the left column, drill down to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer and create a new DWORD with the name shown on the right and a Data Value of 1.

Control Panel NoSetFolders
Foler Options NoFolderOptions

Windows Update NoWindowsUpdate
Shut Down NoClose

To Delete the Find menu option shown in the left column, drill down to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\FindExtensions and delete the subkey shown in the right column.
